Hi and thank you for visiting! This is my 15th year of teaching and my 16th year at Woodinville High School. This year I am teaching Spanish 300.
I attended Louisiana State University until 2000 and I graduated from Washington State University in 2002 with a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature (with an emphasis in Spanish) and in 2005 I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with my MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching). During the 2011-2012 school year I completed my Administrative certification at Seattle Pacific University. In 2018 I earned my teaching certificate in Health and Physical Education.
I have a son, Wyatt who is a sixth grader at Timbercrest Middle School. I lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for most of my life. I moved to Washington State in 2001 and currently reside in Woodinville. I have traveled to many different countries for ongoing studies and for family vacations.
Outside of school I enjoy teaching group fitness classes at Gold’s gyms of WA and 425 Fitness. I also love skiing, traveling, long distance running, rock climbing, stand up paddleboarding, cycling and hiking with my dog Scout – basically if there is an adventure I am ready to go!
I’m looking forward to another great year in the Northshore School District. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
